setup install 'error' - Application already exists

Hi,

I have created a setup project and have deployed the app. When I make
changes and attempt to reinstall I get an error that I must remove installed
version.

How can I get my app. to automatically write over the original? Is there a
way to say if version.x >version.y then install? Any other advice/comments
would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Phil ,

if you made an installer project then overwritting is not an option , ( this
is very wrong ,,,, as it potentially leaves garabage on the system ,
registry settings etc etc )
the idea is that you perform a deinstallation , and as i recall correctly
this can be set to perform automaticly if you install a new version of your
product.
