Hello,
I was looking through the older posts for a solution to this problem,
but I am still confused on how to fix my problem. There are two dates on
my form, one (txtInvDate) is entered by the user and has a validator
(reDate) attached for specific dates that can be entered. The second
date (txtRptDate) is another textbox that is filled with current date,
that can not be changed by the user. The date (txtRptDate) that cannot
be changed...

Hello there,
In my asp.net page using VB, I have a date text field in mm/dd/yyyy
format. When a date is entered, I'd like to validate it to make sure
the date is greater than or equal to the current date. If not, I'd
like to display the error message to ValidationSummary.
It seems to make sense to me to use CompareValidator but the problem
is put the current date into CompareValidator. So, I created a hidden
text field in my aspx. ...

Hi,
I have created a datagrid which works just fine. One of the columns
retrieves the date which particular row was populated. However, the format
which the date is returned is:
19.12.2004 13:03:25
I only want to display the date that the row was populated, not the exact
time as well. Is there anyway I can do this, or is it an SQL problem when I

Ok, here's the situation... I have a user control that contains two
textboxes (one for a from date/time and one for a to date/time) and two
image buttons. The user control itself is supposed to be used on a number
of different ASPX pages (that's why I made it a ASCX). When clicking the
image button, I run simple JavaScript to open another popup ASPX page that
contains a calendar control and two dropdownboxes for the time (hours :...

I am binding dates to a textbox, the date is stored in SQL in a datetime
field. When it gets bound it turns it into a long date (Sunday, Dec. 25
2005), in SQL when viewing the table it views as a shortdate. When
inserted to SQL the datetimepicker format for the date is short. I have
not had a problem with the formatting of a date to a textbox before, but
this time I am using the CurrencyManager to navigate though several
records. This is...

Hallo,
I know a lot has already been told about date/time fields in a database but
still confuses me, specif when dealing with SQLserver(Express).
It seems that sqlserver only accepts the date in a "yyyyMMdd" format?
(difference between Express and MSDE2000A ?)
What is the one and only true way to deal with this problem in VB2005:
Local settings are Dutch (Belgium) ; thus date is in "dd/MM/yy" (or perhaps
dd/MM/yyyy) and time in...

What must I do to overcome a problem with my dates becoming formatted as
"2/22/2525 12:00:00 AM" in the datagrid? I want to handle all dates as
short string of format "2/22/2525." Otherwise when I run the update routine
SQL (set start_date = "2/22/2525 12:00:00 AM") does not work while short
string (set date = '2/22/2525') does work. See update routine below:
Private Sub MarketingDataGrid_UpdateCommand(ByVal source As Object, ByVal e...

I have a gridview that's being populated from an access db query. The
problem I'm having is that the date/time fields in access that are
populating the gridview are showing both date and time, when the field
should only be showing one or the other (date or time).
Even on the back end of the database where the column properties are, I
have chosen the smallest date/time formats. When the aspx page runs, it
shows the date and time (ie:in a...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
