One table - multiple DataGridTableSt yles - How?

How do I make multiple DataGridTableSt yles serve the same table?
(I can get multiple styles for the same datagrid, but not multple
styles for the same *table* on the same datagrid)

I want to do this because I want to have multiple views of the same
table. I have a ComboBox where I select the view I want. There are ten
views, but only three tables.

I have no problem when I have a one for one relationship
view=tablestyle as shown here;
\\
'run by a selection in a comboBox
My fill goes like this;
datagrid.fill(d s, "MyTableNam e")

My datagrid
datagrid.datame mber = "MyTableNam e"
datagrid.dataso urce = ds
//
\\
'several table styles loaded with the form_load
My datagridtablest yle
Dim dgts As New DataGridTableSt yle
dgts.MappingNam e = " MyTableName "
....
....
//

The problem I have is when there are more than one view on the same
table for the same datagrid.

How do I do this?

Thank you,
-Doug
I have tried . . .
I have tried using an alias in place of the actual table name. It made
sense to me, but it does not work.
\\
'run by a selection in a comboBox
My fill goes like this;
datagrid.fill(d s, "TableAliasName ")

My datagrid
datagrid.datame mber = "TableAliasName "
datagrid.dataso urce = ds
//
\\
'several table styles loaded with the form_load
My datagridtablest yle
Dim dgts As New DataGridTableSt yle
dgts.MappingNam e = " MyTableName "
....
....
//

Does anyone know of a way to execute sql code from a dynamically built text field? Before beginning, let me state that I know this db architecture is built solely for frustration and I hope to make it better soon. Unfortunately, there is never a non-crucial time in which we can do an upgrade, so we are stuck for now. Point 1: There are multiple tables: students, courses, cross-reference

Hi Unfortunately, I am limited to using tables for part of my current project. I have a form that spans across a number of TR and TD in the shape of checkboxes. Doctype is XHTML 1.0 Transitional, Encoding is utf-8 Is there anything wrong? Should I try something else? What in that case?

I have situation where I need to copy multiple records (only certain fields) from a Rules table to an Events table based on a selection identified in a combo box. When the selection is made in a parent table, multiple records in a child table are affected. However, I'm a bit weak on programming experience. INSERT INTO is not suitable. Any ideas? When the combo box update property is triggered, the code needs to accomplish: IF...

This may be an easy question, but for some reason the multiple table design idea is throwing me. I'm trying to avoid using one large, wide table - so I've got multiple tables that hold different categories of information about each record - address information in one table, contact information in another table, order-related information in a third, and so on. The "Customer" table has an AutoNumber "Cust_ID" as a PK, which is the main...

I have a dataset containing a parent table related to a child table. The child table contains an ID field (which is configured as autonumber in the datatable), the ID of the parent, plus some addition fields. I'm able to get the datagrid to be properly populate with only the child records relating to the specified parent by setting the ..DefaultView.RowFilter property. Currently, to properly add a new child record, I need to manually...

I have worked for hours on trying to find a solution and have not figured it out. I am working in Access 2003. I need to create a query that takes values from 1 table and displays them in multiple fields. I don't have the option of changing the structure of the existing tables because I am importing them from a separate data source on a regular basis. I also need to use a query instead of a form because I then need to be able to export...

How would I insert into multiple related tables using a table valued parameter? Is there any way to do this without using a WHILE loop? I know how to insert from a table valued parameter into one table: INSERT INTO dbo.Table SELECT * FROM @TVP But what do I do when I want to insert all of someone's information into multiple tables, and have those records related to each other by foreign keys? For example, I want to insert their address...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
