A TabControl may have several TabPages. I want to set one page to be
invisible.
So I called: TabPageX.Visibl e=false or TabPageX.Hide , but nothing happens.
Then I called TabPageX.Dispos e,this time the page is invisible. But I can't
restore the tabpage any more.
Any response will be appreciated,

Hi,
In case you did not want to try the tab control Cor refered to. You
need to remove the tabpage from the tab control to hide it and add it back in
to show it.

Hi Ken,
Cor didn't refer to my TabControlEX, but my tabcontrol tips page, where
you'll find examples to show how to do a lot of things that are frequently
asked for, such as methods to hide and show tabpages.
Obviously, TabControlEX wraps up most of my tips and more, but some people
don't want to use third party controls (even free ones) when they can code
it themselves.

I have a tab page with a handful of controls on it (label, combobox, etc.).
Is it possible to "boilerplate a tabPage with the controls "like a MDI
childForm" so that adding a new tabPage includes the controls.
Any examples, documentation or comments would be helpful.

Hi all,
I am working on an application in which there is a form which has a
tabcontrol containing 4 tab pages.
Let the name of the tabpages be A,B,C&D.
The default view is that there are all the tabpages(A-D) in the
tabControl.
Now there is a button on TabPage A & when the button is clicked the
default view changes to a tabcontrol having three tabpages A,B & D.

I knew that "Hide" doesn't work with Tabpage if I want to hide it. I should
use Remove/Add. But I have some other controls in the tabpage which I don't
want to use code to dynamiclly create them. If I use remove to remove that
tabpage and later use add to add it back in, I have to write code to create
all the controls inside that tabpage, otherwise it will be a blank page.
What can I do to avoid it? Thank you for your time and help.

I have a tabcontrol on one of my forms. Some of the tab should not be
accessable (and thus invisible) until you give the correct password. But I
can't hide the tab...
tabSecrets1.Visible=false
tabSecrets1.Hide
will not work, the tab is visible :(
