Providing a tooltip for the autohide and close buttons of docking manager

Hi all,
I am using a crownwood components docking manager in my application.I
want to assign a tip to the Auto Hide and
close buttons present for the docking manager.
But the properties associated with a manager are not giving me any
idea about how to do this.
Do anybody have any idea.
Thanks

Hi. I've embedded some buttons in a Text object, and I would like these buttons to perform a 'tear-off' of that line when clicked. That is, when the button is clicked, I would like a new Toplevel to appear with a new Text object which contains the text. Creating a 'pop-off' button, where the Toplevel appears at some predetermined (or calculatable) point would be easy, I'd just create the Toplevel, position it, and pass the info to it. The...

Hello. I have been trying out the Lebans ToolTip Classes at http://www.lebans.com/tooltip.htm, to display "balloon" style help tips in a form. The classes I am using are located at http://www.lebans.com/DownloadFiles/A2kTooltip.zip So far the classes work perfectly, except that now I need to extend it to support other controls besides the ones given in the example form. I have gotten it to work with some controls, but not others. I...

Stephen, I think I figured out the problem. I was able to get Check Boxes and Option Buttons to work on my form by TURNING OFF RECORD SELECTORS on the form. Not sure why this would make a difference. Perhaps Access attributes the hWnd of the form to the Record Selector if these are turned on. In any case, I ran some tests on your Customers form and sure enough, a Check Box or Option Button will work fine until you turn on Record...

I've built a composite web custom control with a lot of child controls. I assigned ToolTip values to some of these controls. The ToolTip pop-ups were working fine until I monkeyed with the order I am rendering the controls. I had to do this so that the control rendered properly when a developer drags it from the toolbox onto the page. Any ideas? Below is the meat of the code from my user control. The remainder is private methods.

Hello, I want to create a tooltip like Word 2007 shows when you select text. http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/9809/floatiefq4.gif I have no problem with putting buttons etc in the tooltip but the tooltip closes when I navigate with my mouse to over the tooltip before I can click any buttons. How can I keep the tooltip open when I am hovering over it?

I have installed C# 2008 Express edition in Windows Vista, and I found this huge bug: the tooltip shown to the up corner of a window has the old yellow style color. Minimize, Maximize, Close buttons show a yellow tooltip in Explorer and all other programs; instead buttons, system tray icons and other UI elements show Vista grey style tooltip. It seems VS2008 Express has changed some Vista shell dll files.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
