Determine type of object to be pasted into document

Art
I'm using DSOFramer to host instances of word template documents. One of the
requirements states that users are not allowed to paste images into these
documents. Therefore, is there a way to determine what type of an object is
about to be pasted into a document and if not then (after it's been pasted)
how to delte it?
TIA,
Art

I am writing a VB.NET application in Visual Studio 2003. I have written a method that handles several events, such as closing a form and changing the visible status of a form. I have some code that applies to all these events, but I need to have specific code execute when the form closes. The properties for this method are sender (the originator) and e (event arguments). I know how to get typeof (sender) to determine what form or...

Is there a simple and clean way to get the window object that contains an element that is passed into a function? I want to throw some alerts / confirms, but don't want to switch away from whatever window they're currently looking at. I can step up by parentNode until the nodeType equals 9, which means the document element, and then step up one more...does that ensure a window object? Or i could step up until the node had no...

I've encounted a pretty strange problem and I'm not quite sure what to make of it. I have a web service that consumes an XML file as well as a few other parameters. This web service works fine if I use the web test interface. It also works fine if I call it from an ASP.NET page that has a text box where the XML is pasted and then passed on. However, I get an exception if I use an <input type="file"> control on the ASP page that allows...

resending with better URL At the URL http://www.spfldcycling.org/miles/06_12_detail.htm , I'm having difficulty resizing a DIV object when the window resizes. I want to get the left and top positions of the DIV, then calculate the width and height. I can get the window dimensions fine, but since I can't get the left and top I had to use constants, which isn't a good idea. Also, the page doesn't work well in Netscape. The header shifts...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
