I've tried to override the paint method and I can't get the overriden paint
method to get called. I put the the method below within the class, but it
never gets called when I open up my form.
By the way, the class is extends DataGridTextBoxColumn, so I wanting to
paint the DataGrid. Thanks!

I have a requirement to put a GDI style circle or rectangle border around
the selected row of a datagrid/ It will overlap into the row above and below
the selected row. Doing this in a the OnPaint of a subclassed
DataGridTextBoxColum dos not seem like a practical way to do it.
I have subclassed a DataGrid and overridden the OnPaint as such:

Anyone tell me how to number the rowheaders of a datagrid, e.g. 1,2,3,4,5
etc, just like in excel. I could put the row numbers in a new column but
there has to be a simple way of adding it to the rowheader?? Thanks

I am using code from Help with two exceptions. (1) I increased the number of sample rows from 3 to 20, and (2) I anchored the datagrid to bottom of form so that I can change the size of the grid by changing the size of the form

Is it possible (and how?) to get the data grid column name
based on the DataGrid.CurrentCell?
The DataGrid has assigned a TableStyle comprising
selected columns (DataGridTextBoxColumn) from
the source DataTable (DataGrid.DataSource=DataTable).
I would like to be able to get the column name of the
datagrid based on the DataGrid current cell so I can reference
the appropriate column in the source DataTable.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
