Excuse me for multiple posting because I've posted this message to
aspnet.security NG but have not got any response yet.
I'm building an ASP.NET application works in Forms Authentication mode with
custom user account database. And it shows clients a list of hyperlinks to
content pages located in some separated subfolders. This application and
content pages are entirely secured, so everyone must logon to the
application. The application...

Hi,
I used Outlook 2003 to progammatically read some signed/encrypted messages,
however it semms that the message collections can't return a mailitem object
oMsg = Outlook.Items.GetFirst
and returned an exception message of "Specified cast is not valid."
When I read a non-secure message, it does return a mailitem without exception.

Is there a way to send an encrypted email from server-side PHP, and then
decrypt it using an email client such as Outlook?
Thanks,
Don

How do you check for the existence of new/unread email in Microsoft
Outlook 2002 using the Outlook Object Model with COM Interop, and not
using MAPI/CDO to go to the Exchange server?
For e.g this snippet uses CDOSYS for Win NT, but I want to use the
Outlook Object Model and check at the client (using the
inspector/explorer object) and not at the server.

can VBA check who move the email in Outlook?
There are email account which share with a group, once we forward email from
that share account to our own account, as your know Oulook will
add a msg "You forward this email on " as a status of email.
How about if we just move the email to another folder, any things
outlook will add to that email states who and when that email is moved?
thanks.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
