Hi Everybody,
This is the first timw I am entering into this Group.
I am developing a VB Project with an MDI form.
I want to display IE Favorites into my application. For this I need to
create Submenus and Menuitems dynamically. It is possible to create
menus using array index. But if I have multiple folders and files in
Favorites then using array index will not work.

I have an app that populates a treeview from an XML file. I want to
create a few different context menus that pop up depending on which
node is selected. I can get one context menu to appear when I right
click a node but when I try to add code to check the node and then
choose the appropriate context menu nothing happens. The following is

Hi - I've seen quite a few posts that almost match this but haven't
found a solution that works.
I have an explorer-like application with a treeview in the lefthand
pane. When I right-click on a node, a context menu appears. How can I
get different context menus to appear depending on which node is

Hi all,
Controls such as the tree view or list view use image lists hence I can set
the quality of icons to 32bit. This way they look their best.
Unfortunately both the menu and tool bar strip control don't use image lists.
How can I still achieve 32bit icon quality (icons are natively 32bit) in
these controls? I don't see any such property in either of them.

Hi,
Just need a little advice. Id like to build *dynamic* context menus for tree
nodes. I'm pretty versed in building context menus and attaching them to
tree nodes.
My question is, what event to I "capture" in order to build the tree node
menu in real time? right click on a tree node? or is it too late?
just FYI: the menu is different for each node and is based on "real time"

I must be approaching this the wrong way, as it clearly must be possible.
I am writing a very basic CMS. At the top of the page will be a menu 'main
categories' and at the side will be a menu 'sub categories'.
The page being viewed is calculated from the querystring. A bit of code then
gets the relevent main category and subcategory for that pageID.
