Hi,

You need to reference the Controls property of the GroupBox1 object:

---
For Each obj In GroupBox1.Contr ols
' etc...
Next
---

Regards,
-Adam.

Daniel,

Because that you for a foreach needs to go through a collection(ilis t
icollection)

A groupbox exist from individual properties, methods and events, however
those are not direct in a collection.

\\\
For Each ctr As Control In Me.GroupBox1.Co ntrols
...
Next ctr
///

Thanks, for your response.
I was looking, for some reason, for something like GroupBox1.Objec ts instead

Thanks a lot.

Hello, There's some confusion about the purpose and difference between these handy classes... First, both of them are holding number of key - value pairs, right? Then, I see that there may be some difference in terms of data types allowed for keys and values, perhaps? I read the following in MSDN about "CollectionBase" class and

I'm trying to write a utility that will use Reflection to examine any data model I pass it and correctly map out this model into a tree structure. When I say "any" , in fact there will only be 3 types of items in the very hierarchical data model: - Classes (and nested classes) - Collections - Properties I've successfully written the Reflection code to handle any combination of classes and properties but I'm confused about what to do...

In C++ an overridden virtual function in a derived class must have the exact same signature of the function which is overridden in the base class, except for the return type which may return a pointer or reference to a derived type of the base class's return type. In .NET the overridden virtual function is similar, but an actual parameter of the function can be a derived reference from the base class's reference also. This dichotomy...

Hi, I've created a component that allows me to store database information for various types of databases my company uses. It uses a collection for each type of database. Everything is working perfectly except when the component is deleted from the page. Here are the details. I add the component to the page from the toolbox and then add items using the collection editor. I can delete those items from the collection using the collection...

I'd like to create a strongly-typed collection of objects that are indexed by a string value (key is a string). I'd also like to allow users to iterate over the collection using a For-each loop where an object of the contained type is returned (instead of just the standard DictionaryEntry object). - only allow objects of type MyObj to be added to the collection - return a MyObj type in the For-each loop What's the best way to do this?

As I mentioned in my other post, I'm attempting to, using COM Interop so I can update existing VB6 code to (for several specific functions) return a Hashtable from a .NET library. I've had very little luck processing the Hashtable itself in VB6 (I can add a reference to the project so it knows what a Hashtable is, but I'm not having much luck looping through all objects in the Hashtable), so I decided to try a different idea.

In VB6 I used to be able to add an object like a textbox and see the dropdown properties of that textbox from the collection object: Dim col as collection set col = new collection col.Add(txt1) col(0).Text = "test" This is not happening in VB.Net. Is there a way to use a collection object

Abstract: Continuing the discussion about abstract data types, in this discussion group, a string collection data type is presented, patterned after the collection in C# and similar languages (Java). It stores character strings, and resizes itself to accommodate new strings when needed. Interface: ----------

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
