Counting USER-Objects in VB.NET

I have written a VB.NET WinForms App and on testing I found out about
having a problem with the USER-Objects!

If I open many Forms, they reach about 10.000 (To see in the
Task-Manager)

Is there a way to count this objects directly in .NET to send a
message to the user?

Hello I implemented reference counting in my program, and found out many problems associated with it. I wonder if the following problems can be solved automatically rather manually ? 1. In its member function, an object manages to destroy last reference to itself and thus destructs before the end of the member function.

Hello: I have a form that contains a multiple-select field that has 12 options in it. I would like the user to be able to select UP TO FOUR of those options. If they select more than four, I would like to alert them of the error. To do this, I figure that counting commas would be the easiest method (i.e., IF commas > 3 THEN alert user). ...

I'm looking for a script that, instead of counting down, can "count up" from a given date. So the output should be something like "(xx) days since (date/event)" or "(date/event) was (xx) days ago". Does anybody know where to find a script like that, or could someone code one for me? Thanks in advance. Yours,

I'm writing a TCP/IP server app that will have many simultaneous connections. The main thread listens for new connections and starts a thread to handle each requested connection. These are short lived threads that get a request and return a reply and end. Can the main thread tell me how many connection threads are currently running at any...

I've set the textbox's max length to 120 and that works fine. Now, I have a label that displays characters remaining in the textbox. For each keypress I am decrementing...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
