Invalid Property Value Error

Hi, what's happened to my project: each time I try to change any property of
a control, I get an error message: "Invalid property value" and in details:
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object. "
Could it happened after I'd moved the project to a different location?

Please, help.

I've recently had a nasty problem with the "Invalid reference to the property Form" error in subforms - nasty because it doesn't seem to consistently happen to all forms which contain the same structure and code. Judging by the forums I've researched, it's not an uncommon error. I'm happy to say I've found a simple solution. OVERVIEW: I have a main form (no record source) which contains two subforms. The subforms are not linked, but...

I'm getting a compiler error on my ASP.NET page and I can't see the cause. I have a simple C# class compiled into a DLL and placed in my bin directory which has a public property QuestionText. When I try and set the property the compiler throws up Compiler Error Message: CS1519: Invalid token '=' in class, struct, or interface member declaration If I don't try and set the property it prints out the default value of the property fine.

Hello all, I have a service that's using CDO 1.21 and Redemption to routinely iterate through a list of users to retrieve some properties which are then written to a database. My problem is that the ExchangeServer property of my service is user-configured and I wanted to have it write to the event log if this value is invalid so that it stops trying to process the users (sometimes in the thousands). Currently, my service is not able...

Hi All I am trying to execute a stored procedure that does a very simple lookup and returns a text field. However, when I try to execute it, I am getting a rather strange error that I can't seem to fix! There is defiantely information coming back as I have tested this in Query Analyzer. The error actuall comes on my oCmd.ExecuteNonQuery(); String: the Size property has an invalid size of 0.

I have some code which is trying to determine where text will wrap in a custom text box (which Inherits from Control). It determines the number of characters which will fit in the first line, but then encounters an exception when it calls MeasureCharacterRanges to see if the next character, i.e. the one destined to become the first character of the second line, will fit. The message says only "Invalid parameter" - it does not say which...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
