I'm trying to display thumbnail images in a Listview that look more like the
Windows thumbnail view. Everything is working pretty good, but my
thumbnails are decidedly not like the Windows thumbnails.
View the following snapshot to compare the Windows thumbnails (top) to my
ListView thumbnails (bottom):

I have problems with ListView-control because of its GridLines bug in
Windows XP.
I created a function that creates a bitmap which presents those grid lines.
Then I set this image to ListView's BackgroundImage. The grid line bug is
fixed now but this creates an another problem.
While having a background image, list view won't show list item's backcolor
if it's set.

requirements for the component for two different situations I want to use

In the first situation, I need a listview that either allow to have an image
on the background or a gradient background.
The second application is to have a listview in "detail" mode or a grid (it

Hola Foro!, tengo una rutina que permite agregar varios elementos o
items de una sola vez en un ListView. Lo que sucede es que en el
momento que se añaden los items al ListView se pone todo blanco,
cuando se terminan de agregar los items vuelve a su estado normal. Como

Hi,
When I try to set the BackgroundImage property on a ListView, the
project fails to run. Sometimes a generic error message appears telling
me that memory might be corrupt. Sometimes the error message does not
appear but the project still does not run.
When I reset the property to that there is no background image, the
projects runs.

Hi,
I've got a list view that displays a series of images. I'd like to be
able to draw a divider across the list view to divide the images into
groups. Ideally, I'd have a group name, with a line underneath it that
spans the ListView. How could this be done? I tried using an image as
the divider, but it forced the divider image to be the same size as
the image size used for the ImageList that stores the images for the
