Listview: When does the newvalue become currentvalue after the listview.itemch eck event?

Hi,everyone,

I'm using a listview control to deal with data. The ItemCheckEventA rgs have
2 properties:Curr entValue and NewValue in listview.itemch eck event. Can
anybody tell me when does the newvalue become currentvalue after the event?

I'm worring about this because 'listview1.Chec kedItems.Count( )' didn't
change after I changed listview1's check state'

Thank you

Peter

Is there any way to know whether the OnItemCheck is being called in response to a user action (mouse or keyboard) as opposed to the form loading? I have a class which derives from System.Windows.Forms.ListView. Among other features, it enables the checkboxes and overrides the OnItemCheck() method. I have placed this ListView on a form and use form.ShowDialog() to display it whenever the user presses a certain button. If the user...

I'm having a problem with the listview itemcheck event since upgrading a smart device app from VS2003 VB.NET CF1.0 to VS2005 VB.NET CF2.0. I'm using the listview item checkbox to indicate if the item is "processed". When the item becomes processed, i set the listviewitem.checked property to true. To prevent the user from changing the state of the box manually, i use the itemcheck event and set:

I am working with a program that utilized the checkbox property of a listview. When a user clicked on the checkbox, it was suppose to calculate and total some prices. I did not make any changes to the listview, but now the method does not work when the checkbox is clicked. In trying to fix this problem, it would seem that when I click on the checkbox it calls the itemcheck event. In the itemcheck event I check to see if the state of the...

I have a ListView with checkboxes. I want to remove items when the checkboxes are unchecked, but to do so yields an ArgumentOutOfRangeException. Is there an easy way to get around this? A simple program that illustrates the exception is below: using System; using System.Windows.Forms; namespace WindowsApplication1

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
