Hello All,
I'm trying to get a "Virtual Listbox" to work. I've currently got a form,
and used CreateWindowExA to create a ListBox with the LBS_OWNERDRAWFIXED and
LBS_NODATA flags on it. I've allso subclassed the window and do see all
kinds of WS_??? messages coming by.
But now I'm stuck :-\

I am using a Listbox and can not get the "drop down" effect. My
listbox is populated with 20 items and a vertical scrollbar is
automatically added. One item is visible. When I click on the
vertical scrollbar I can still only see one item at a time. The
effect I want is as follows:
The Listbox only displays one item until the user clicks on the
right-hand side. When the user clicks on the right-hand side, the
list "drops down" to...

I am having a terrible time getting anything useful out of a listbox
on my web form.
I am populating it with the results from Postcode lookup software, and
it is showing the results fine. What I want to do is to allow the
user to click on the row that corresponds to the correct address, and
have the code behind populate the form's Address1, Address2 etc.
controls with the relevant data items.
I put the code for this into the...

I have a ListBox webcontrol on an aspx page. Items are added to the
ListBox using client-side code. However, when the page is posted back the
items are missing/not available. (It is like the page does not know the
items were added client-side.)
TIA,

I am writing a ASP.NET(VB) application and am having some trouble. I
have a datagrid which list users and when an admin clicks "edit" a
defined column becomes visible and a dynamic listbox control is added
to that column/row. When the admin clicks "update" I am unable to
retrieve the values that were selected from that listbox.
Basically, This is a multi-select listbox, so I need to loop to pull
all selected items. This is the only...

The code below works to an extent. The problem with it is that no
matter which item is selected, the first one in the list is always the
item that gets added/removed. How can I alleviate this problem? I have
tried If Not Page.IsPostBack and still nothing.
Private Sub btnCol1ToCol2_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e
As System.EventArgs) Handles btnCol1ToCol2.Click
Dim s As String = lbColumn1.SelectedItem.Text()...

I've got a listbox on a VB.NET form. when the form opens, the ListBox
SelectionMode is set to Single. while running various routines on the form,
items get added to the list box (results of computations, etc).
when all of the calculations are complete, I'm trying to change the listbox
selection mode from single to MultiExtended, using:

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
