You can navigate in the window's history, for example, using a client-side
JScript:

'history' Object
<URL:http://msdn.microsoft. com/workshop/author/dhtml/reference/objects/obj_history.asp >

I would consider it a security problem if the server would be able to read a
client's browser history.

I am working on an ASP.NET application that seems to be limiting browser histories to only one entry. I am not using SmartNavigation on any of the pages, and that is the only thing that I have seen in the documentation that says it limits the browser history. The pages in the application are in a single IIS folder, which is set up as an...

I've spent quite some time searching for a way to prevent the browser from adding each of my postbacks to the History list, and have found several different methods to do that or something similar, all of which either don't do what I need or don't work at all. The closest solution is to enable SmartNavigation, but it causes my first postback...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
