Justin,

Any way you want however not directly in Outlook.

(There are possibilities to use Exchange server for SMTP mail)

You can use a database or a all kind of sequential files.

Hi, A default copy constructor is created for you when you don't specify one yourself. In such case, the default copy constructor will simply do a bitwise copy for primitives (including pointers) and for objects types call their default constructor. Any others points i should know?

On my cmdSaveRecord, I check a couple of fields to confirm that an entry has been made before allowing the Save. I decided to - not put validation rules in table structure, and - validate on Save to avoid annoying the user if a field was left empty before clicking cmdSaveRecord For each field validated in this way, I was getting an error something like

Is there a way I can have a button on a ASP.NET form that when clicked will allow the user to save the image to a file on the client side? I know that the user can simply rclick the image and select Save Target as..., but the button might be a more intuitive way.

Hi, I need a SECURE way to copy parts of a file. I'm having files which contains a whole bunch of records. In one 'fysical' file I'm having one or more logical files. What I need to do is to copy a logical file (a part of the fysical file) into a new file. But the 'big' problem is: these records contains bankstatements, so I can't take the risk that there would be a record missing, or even one little charachter. The copy I make has to...

I have several Data Structures, say "mystruct" which contain arrays of bytes, other structures, etc. I then dimension a variable (var1) as "mystruct" and set the various elements var1 to data. I then dimension another variable (var1save) as "mystruct" and set var1save = var1 with the intent of changing var1 data elements and subsequently reasigning var1 back to it's original values of var1save. VB.Net makes only a shallow copy of var1...

Is it possible to save a copy of cout the same way you can save a copy of stdout in C (I know C version is portable, but unix portable is good enough for me). I have to use a library which closes stdout on init because its used to mostly in background processes but I need it for an interactive process. Library cant be changed unfortunately. I tried the following but the C++ version doesn't work, I guess because it only shares the...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
