Hello!
I'm using PHP Version 4.3.3RC5-dev with GD Version bundled (2.0.15
compatible) to generated some graphics based on mysql data and to my
surprise when I use the GD function imageline($im, $x1, $y1, $x2, $y2,
$cl); (with $cl being the collorallocated via function) the line is
draw dirtying the contiguous pixels of the image ($im), making some
extra pixels around the background. I've removed my jpeg background
and the problem...

Folks,
I have an image of a circle, which I am trying to straighten out into a
flat line. I am essentially wanting to look at the image, and read a
straight line from the centre, and then plot this on a graph. Then I want
to rotate the image 1 degree and read the next line down, if you see what I
mean.
My question is, how do I determine how many pixels wide I should read,
in order not to miss anything out? IE: If I rotate it 1...

Dear ladies and gentlemen:
How to access all the pixels of a bitmap with C#? I am working with
Delphi before. In Delphi, you can use TBitmap.Scanline property to access
all the pixels of a bitmap object. How to do this with C#? Any hints? Thank
you very much.
Best regards.

The function return quite rough pixels.
e.g. if you use Font: Verdana, Font style:Regular, Size:8 and type 60 upper
case
character C, the functuion returns pixels 478.3639, but actualy it occupies
a textbox
that has width 545 pixels, that is about 13% difference. When using the
function to
get pixels and grow a textBox, the textBox is not big enough to show all
characters.

Hi All
Strange question this, but could somebody tell me what the old size=1,
size=2 .... to size=7 font parameters are in pixels and points.
I thought it was:
size 1 = 7 pt
size 2 = 14 pt
size 3 = 21 pt

How extract the visible numerical data from this Microsoft financial
web site?
http://tinyurl.com/yw2w4h
If you simply download the HTML file you'll see the data is *not*
embedded in it but loaded from some other file.
Surely if I can see the data in my browser I can grab it somehow right
in a Python script?

I have to create some vertical text for a web page that allows users
to print to labels. We decided to do this by creating an <imgtag on
the web page and having the src attribute point to another ASP.NET
page that generates the image on the fly and streams it back to the
browser. It works fine, but I'm worried about sizing issues. The image
has to be a specific height and width to fit properly onto the label.
The constructor for the...

Hi,
Is there a way to extact the album cover image that is shown in WMP 11. I
Would like to have a cover.jpg file in each album folder so I'm able to make
a backup of all mp3's as well as all the pictures.
Where does wmp store all the pictures? Is there any function to extract the
images or any useful c# code?
Thanks

I am trying to create a windows program that reads binary graphics as
a resource. This has nothing to do with win32 but conversion of data
with memcpy.
graphic::graphic(UINT uiResID, HINSTANCE hinstance){
size = 32;
bitData.clear();
void * p = NULL; // point to the data
int end;
BYTE data;

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
