Focus lost from Word Application - VB.NET

Hi all

I am building an application to embed a Word Template. I have a tree
structure on my left panel and Word Application on my right panel. When
the user, double-clicks on the child node of the tree, I am applying the
formatting info that is stored in the tag property of each node.

My problem is when the user double-clicks, the formatting gets updated
but the focus is still on the tree and I am unable to insert text after
that point into the word application. Is there any way to handle this?

I am beginner to VB.NET and previously I was working only on VBA for
Word. I do not know anything about API. This program was handed over to
me bcos one of my senior has left. He had used some API functions to
embed Word Application etc. So please help me!!!

Thanks in advance
Jay

I'm in school, taking a VB .NET 2003 course, and the teacher taught us how to use Sender.Focus() to return focus to the control from which focus was received. However, when I got home, and tried it on my own copy of VB .NET 2003, it doesn't seem to work, in fact the only method that comes up with Intellisense is GetType. I can't find any...
