Determining if an Image is indexed or not

Is there a procedure for determining whether or not an Image uses any of the
indexed pixel formats, short of checking against each one?

I am missing 'Image.IsIndexe dPixelFormat'.. . A heuristic way would be
checking the number of items in the image's palette:

\\\
Dim img As Image = Image.FromFile( ...)
MsgBox("Indexed format: " & CStr(img.Palett e.Entries.Lengt h > 0))
img.Dispose()
///

When trying to load a png image in GD, I get the error (Mozilla Firefox) "cannot display image, because it contains errors"; IE just shows an empty 'image-error' box. When loading a large enough image, it does build up the image gradually until it's almost finished, but then the partly visible image is replaced by the error message/error box as described above. It seems like indexed <256cols pngs are not subject to this problem. I've read...

I followed Dan Cederholm's image replacement tutorial, to replace a header tag by a logo. The h1 is clickable if no CSS is applied but it I replace it by the logo, the area isn't clickable anymore when I pass the mouse over the logo. Is there a way to replace a link by an image that will still be clickable? Thanks, -- Kerberos.

As I understand it, the use of FIR* to replace heading tags with images in visually enabled CSS browsers is now frowned upon on the basis that some screen readers will *nor* read back text that is marked up by CSS to be invisible or hidden. So... If I want to replace headings with images (because my client wants to use his specific font for headings where possible), what's the best way to do it?

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
