No problem writing a utility to keep my usernames and passwords but how
might I implement entering them on a browser display. Would like to reduce
the keystrokes from copy paste username, tab to password field, copy-paste
to password. In fact if I could hold two items in the windows buffer and
fire them one by one I could Ctrl-V, tab, Ctrl-V but I don't think that is
possible.

Ed,
Making password screens depends as well from the methods you use, here a
description page. http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...l/THCMCh06.asp
I hope it helps,
Merry Christmas

What I would like to do is not secure a site, but simply to create a program
to fill in username and passwords on existing web pages such as my bank.
Ed
Ed,
Do you mean in Internet Explorer or something.
You can try it than to set a reference to interop.shdocvw .dll.
However it will not be easy, as you saw you have to know more systems of
setting the security and probably some will be impossible for you.
I hope however that this helps?

Hello,
I want to know what I have to do to make the enter key to submit forms. I
read in another newsgroup that inserting an html hidden text box made the
trick, and it actually does, but in my page I have more than one web control
that have their independient "forms" (in the .NET environment, it makes it
to be just one). And I need that,...

Totally hacked off here. I've written a user control that contains a
text box, a required field validator and a button (these being the
cornerstone of a search facility), all as ASP.Net server controls. The
user clicks the button, and server-side code does a redirect to a
search page, appending the search expression to the URL.
Great, I...

and I'm wondering how you have handeled this problem.
Let's suppose you have a page where the user can...

Hi
I am trying to get the enter key to submit my login form
The login form is currently in a control on the page and uses an

If a user presses enter currently, the page just reloads.
I have tried to use some javascript to set the enter key on the button, but
this script only seems to work for an...

In a regular html form, when user press "enter" key, the form will be
submitted.
However, in ASP.NET web form, a form will only be submitted (post back) when
a special button is clicked. Many user get used to click "enter" key to
submit a form. How can I use "enter" key to submit/postback in ASP.NET.
Thank,

Hi,
ASP.NET has some interesting behavior when the user hits the Enter key.
If there are multiple ASP:Buttons (rendered as HTML submits) on the
form, when the user hits enter, the first button's click event will
fire and the page will submit.
I have a series of pages with Previous and Next navigational Btns. The
Previous button is the...

the ENTER key on that page, I want the ENTER event to be sent to the ENTER

I have an ASP.NET page with one Textbox (SearchTextBox) and one ImageButton

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...
