Hi,
I have exported some registry-keys using Regedit to a number of
..reg-files. I can open these files using any text editor. Now I wanted
to write a simple Python script to concatenate all these files to one
output file. (Please note that I'm a newbie).
However, if I do something like:
>>> f=open('c:/documents and settings/myname/desktop/test.reg','r')

Is there anybody out there who have any idea why EXPORT is relatively slower
when putting the output file on a network drive - map drive from onother PC
compared to putting it on my local PC drive (faster). Is there any
workaround or tuning config that is available?
Your help would be highly appreciated.

Just wondering if anyone has hit the following issue and how you might
have sorted it out.
I am using the command:
DoCmd.TransferText acExportMerge, , stDataSource, stFileName, True
after setting stDataSource and stFileName to the desired values. Most
of the time it works, but occasionally, typically as code changes are
being made to the module, the following message appears:

A97 has menu options that support exporting table
data to ms excel data file format. Is this easily implemented
from within code? Any examples? I looked in A97 HELP
for the TransferSpreadsheet Action but there was no
example code (Example appeared at the top next to
'See Also' but it was grayed out).

I built my application with Access 2003 and made a distribution using
the Microsoft Office Access 2003 Developer Extensions.
(I also install Jet 8 as a follow-on action at the end of the
installation.)
I can install the application on my development PC and on a "bare" PC.
Regardless of the PC where I install, in the installed application (but
not the development version)
File->Export from a Report brings up a dialog box containing...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
