Hello,
This might be a really easy question, but... I am
developing a simple Smart Device application that uses a
listview. I have a function that adds a item to the
listview - code is below. I use the type listviewitem,
selitem, on one form to modify the listviewitem, using a
timer, every second, and use selitem1 to modify items,
after they have ended the time on the timer form, from
the form that the listview is located - this way I...

My listview has two columns: Email Address & Email Address Type.
I've figured out how to populate it, but now I'm having trouble figuring out how to properly use the SelectedItems to get at the particular row that is double clicked. Can someone give me an example of how to get at the item, and subitems, of a selected row in a listview?
Thanks,
billy

I need something that looks like a ListView but will allow SubItems of the
ListView to be ComboBoxes, or allow the contents to be a ComboBox. So for
each row in the ListView one of the columns would have a ComboBox that
allows the user to make some selection for that row. Does anyone know if
this is possible or if there is another object provided that would allow
this kind of functionality?
Thanks,
Nate

On each Listview item I can add one or more so called sub-items. These
subitems appear to be little more than labels. I'm curious if I could add
something else as a subitem, for instance a textbox or combobox. Would
anyone know if that's possible and if so, how to do it?
Tia,
Martin

Does anyone know how to perform two way data binding between a combo
box and a listview.
The listview is bound to a dataset table in code:
Binding Bind = new Binding();
DataTable dt;
Field_LV.DataContext = dt;
Field_LV.SetBinding(ListView.ItemsSourceProperty, Bind);

I can't figure out how to bind ComboBox inside of ListView or ListBox.
How do I set ComboBox.ItemsSource property?
I don't see the way to do it in code and not in XAML.
I have Collection that is bound to ListBox / ListView and string that
should be bound to ComboBox.
Thanks,
Shimon.

Why does the following code not clear a combo box?
Me.cboLocation.Text = String.Empty
OR
Me.cboLocation.Text = ""

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
