I really need some help with showing pages of results from queries in
say like groups of 20 with next and previous buttons or links. I'm

Hello,
I'm working on a search application for my website. The website contains a
lot of pictures, and a search should return clickable thumbnails. No
problems there. My problem started when I wanted to build in NEXT and
PREVIOUS buttons, so that you only get 5 or 10 or 20 (I haven't made up my
mind yet) thumbnails at a time. I use a SQL LIMIT statement to achieve that.
After displaying the first 5 pictures I would like to see the next 5,...

I would like to display a listing of files on a web page as follows:
If there is only one file: display the section name and then display the
current file.
If there is more than one file (for the first page): display the section
name, the current file and a few archive files.
If there is more than a page full (for each additional page): display the
section name, and the next set of archive files.

Hi All,
I would like some advice on Next / Previous record buttons.
I have a main form for the client, and a continuous subform listing
client transactions. If I open one of these transactions ( dblclick )
in say 'frmtransaction', I would like to scroll forward and backward
through the transactions as they appear on the continuous subform
without actually having to close 'frmtransaction' and go back to the
subform.

Greetings. I have a Mainform with a subform. The Mainform has single
record format and subform has continuous form format. When the Mainform
opens, I force allowadditions and allowedits to FALSE (for both the
Mainform and Subform). No problem there.
However, when I click on the navigation control of the subform to move
to the next record in the subform, the AllowAdditions and AllowEdits
changes to TRUE. Not good.
