Error when commiting row to backing datastore

guy
I have and arraylist bound to a datagrid which on the whole works fine,
however if i select a row as soon as I leave the grid i get
"Error when commiting row to backing datastore" I cant seem to trap this,
and the data in the grid matches that in the arralist
I then get "Index was out of range Must be non-negative and less than the
size of the collection"
stack trace reveals the problem is at
System.Collecti ons.Arraylist.g et_Item(int32 index)

any ideas?
guy

This is probably more of an ASP.Net situation rather than c#, but since all of my code behind is in c#, maybe it fits here. I'm wondering, generally, at what point is it too inefficient to store information in a client cookie rather than retrieve it from a datastore. Now, I see the advantage of not storing it in a cookie, but a lot of programs already use cookies to store things from user credentials (roles) to specific user settings....

When backing up a group of DB2 WSE v8.2 databases, I am getting the following error on one or two backups out of 38 being performed. "SQL2025N An I/O error "200" occurred on media <target directory path>". The backups run every night. This error appears about two times a week. This process is backing up databases from one server over to another server both with OS Windows 2000 SP4. The destination drive is a RAID 5 net bay device. ...

Google appengine datastore is not very clear, and I couldn't get much from API documents. It would be very helpful if there are some more detailed documents with examples. Django provides very good documentation, but I don't know how much it is compatible with google appengine. Google appengine examples are not using datastore extensively, so this is also not helping much in modeling datastore. wiki.py is using low level APIs, this...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
