Hi,

I have installed WebSphere Portal on AIX and connected to DB2 on a
remote machine, Getting the followin errors when trying to get the
values from database thru applications installed on Portal.

Any Help Appreciated.

78 is ETIMEDOUT. Are you attempting to connect through a firewall?

Look in /usr/include/sys/errno.h for all of the error numbers that will
be displayed in the DB2 error response.

79 is another common one.
