What is wrong here?
IPAddress ipAddress = IPAddress.Parse("10.10.20.1");
IPEndPoint ipEndPoint = new IPEndPoint(ipAddress, this.port);
this.tcpClient = new TcpClient(ipEndPoint); // PROBLEM HERE
=> Exception: "The requested address is not valid in its context"

Hi,
In quite a fix here. Hope someone can help ASAP. I need
to get the IP address of the client that connects when I
use TcpListener.AcceptTcpConnections. I know I can get
the information using the socket class but I really need
to know how to get this information using the TcpClient
class. I tried writing a class from TcpCLient but then
found out that I can not cast down the inheritance
hierarchy, only up. Any help is greatly

I am using the TcpClient to connect to a web site. I then open a
NetworkStream and read the contents that are being sent back. The
problem is that I have no idea when the remote host is finished
sending data. It is sending a web page but it doesn't use the
Content-Length header to indicate the size.
While I can use the DataAvailable property, it is well known that you
cannot rely on this to know when no more data is available.

When connecting to a server application via a TCP socket connection, how do I retrieve the IP Address of the client computer that is making the connection.
I create and IPEndPoint for the client, then call the connect using the endpoint.
The server application uses TCPListener to pick up client connections.
At this point I want to store the client's IP Address that is making the connection.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
