I have a php file that contains a couple of arrays used for
state/country pull-down lists. I have two global arrays and an accessor
method for each. I have some simple logging methods, so I know a little
bit about what I'm getting back. When I try to get the arrays from
another file using the accessor methods, I get no array back. Within
the file that contains the arrays, I can access them by global name and
also by the accessor methods....

Is there a way to return multiple values from a function without using an
array? Would a dictionary object work better?

Hi, if you have a function, how is it possible to return an array? E.g.:
unsigned long function(...) // what I want to do, obviously illegal
I do know such would be possible by using a dynamic array e.g:
array *a;
a = function(...)

I have two questions which are very similar:
Is it possible to return an object in C++. Below is part of my code
for reference however I am more concerned about the concept. It seems
like the function below is returning a pointer to pointers who are
GUID. I am trying to write a wrapper to use in my VB code and what I
would prefer to do is be able to return an array of GUID. I remember
(not sure) that the concept of arrays does not really...

Can someone please help, I'm trying to pass an array to a function, do some
operation on that array, then return it for further use. The errors I am
getting for the following code are, differences in levels of indirection, so
I feel it must have something to do with the way I am representing the array
in the call and the return.
Below I have commented the problem parts.
Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Hi. I'm more-or-less a C newbie. I thought I had pointers under control until
I started goofing around with this:
================================================================================
/* A function that returns a pointer-of-arrays to the calling function. */
#include <stdio.h>
int *pfunc(void);

Hi!
I have a function, a part of my code which I can use as a function. It
will return 2 arrays, and I am wondering what way to do so. Both
arrays hold strings, there are no special keys.
1) setting the arrays as globals
2) returnin an array of arrays
3) returning a large array with a known marker to indicate when the
2nd part starts.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
