Hi all,
I've posted this before but received no answers and it is an issue . . .
One of my pages is using a treeview webcontrol. I load the treeview with
data which only has two levels (i.e. parents and their children).
My question is how can I code the treeview so only once a user has clicked
on one of the children, a postback is performed and the relevant
SelectedIndexChange event is fired server-side?

I am using www.obout.com 's treeview control and their postback dll ( for an
aspx web page ). The treeview and no postback works, BUT the postback dll
keeps getting removed from the solution. No problems with any of the other
dlls in the app. I have asked www.obout.com about this but they do not
know.
How do I prevent the DLL from getting removed from the solution??
or
please recommend a treeview that I can expand and collapse...

Hi,
I use the selectednodestyle with a white background so the user can see
which item was chosen in the treeview navigation.
The nodes have a navigateURL with a target to another frame.
Navigating works with no postback and the style follow the selected node.
When a new child is added to a node there is a button to refresh the node.
This is done by a postback. After this postback the selected node stays
keeps the selected style.

I am trying to load child nodes to a TreeNode in a TreeView in a
ASP.net web application.
The Treeview with parent nodes are loaded on a Page_load while doing
if( ! ISPostback ) and then in the Treeview event I am dynamically
trying to load the child nodes to the exisisting TreeView. The problem
is since the TreeView is being loaded on not a Postback, I am unable to
refer to any node in the TreeView event. Can anybody tell me how to...

Hi All,
I have a form that displays hierarchical categories in a treeview. Ok so
far so good. What I was to do is have users be able to select a node in the
treeview as part of filling out the form. I only want to allow single
selection, so using checkboxes is out of the question. It works as is, but
it makes the form very cumbersome if every time that a user selects a node,
the whole page has to reload. Is there a way to have a node...

Hello,
There is a known problem with TreeView checkboxes in ASP.NET: they can't do AutoPostBack. So I've solved this problem like this:
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">
function postbackOnCheck()
{
var o = window.event.srcElement;
if (o.tagName == 'INPUT' && o.type == 'checkbox' &&

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
