Hi all, hopefully someone can offer some sagely advice regarding Production use of Jakarta's Tomcat. First, some brief background. My company have a servlet application that connects to a MySQL database. The servlet is deployed on two seperate win2k servers (Access to the tomcat servers is via DNS round robin load balancing). The database is on a another win2k server.

I've been searching around for the equivalent to the mailbox module except with the capability of writing messages as well as reading. If it makes it easier, I only need to write to maildir mailboxes. I found a reference to http://pythonms.sf.net/ Python mail system) but it seems to have vanished. Any suggestions? ---eric

.... got: win2K, v8.1.6 login to win2K is to the network: user; bob13, domain; foo it's a win2K domain. i then login to my local db as db2admin. LIST APPLICATIONS fails with security error. tells me bob13 doesn't have the rights. bob13 has all rights in CC user maintenance. bob13 is member of Administrators in win2K on the box. i'm not logged in to DB2 as bob13, just the box(? domain).

Hi folks, I'm after some guidelines on general memory allocations for DB2 8.2.2 ESE on Win2k Server FP4 with 4gb physical memory. Seeing as everything is 32bit and win2k server does not support /3gb switch, we are restricted memory wise for allocating memory to db2syscs.exe to around 1.75gb so I understand, what are the general rules of thumb for assigning memory ?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
