Hi. We want to avoid Crystal and use 3. part .dll's to design and print .PDF documents. To preview documents we have a solution, but not to print them without previw first. Does anyone have some ideas on what to use to print ..pdf directly? We use ComponentOne to genereate the .pdf and e.g. save it to a file. But we don't have a solution for getting the file printed to a printer without first previewing it. Thanks all for any ideas here.

I am trying to give my clients the option to preview a Crystal report using the Crystal ReportViewer control on a web page, or sending the report directly to their default printer, so far without success. The code I am using follows: Public oReport As CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument 'PrintDirect is boolean parameter read from page header Sub Page_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs)...

(I apologize if this is a repeat. I was told to post under the managed news group. I'm a little confused, but...) I'm running SRS 2000 with SP2 and I'm using IE 6.0 with SP2 (and IE 7.0) to display and print my reports. After printing a report, there seems to be some problem with character sets or locale settings for IE. I have a web page that displays financial data with dollar signs. After printing (or previewing) a report, the...

Currently I have a report that opens from a form and can be printed by pressing the print button on that page. I want to be able to print the report straight from the form without previewing it. Is there any way that this can be done? If anyone has any insight on this I would appreciate it. Thanks, Chris

I have an ASP.NET page that displays work orders in a GridView. In that GridView is a checkbox column. When the user clicks a "Print" button, I create a report, using the .NET Framework printing classes, for each of the checked rows in the GridView. This works fine in the Visual Studio 2005 development environment on localhost. But, when I move the page to the web server, I get the error "Settings to access printer...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
