Hi
I am using Listview and inherited listview control overriding WndProc
& PreProcessMessage in ListView.
I need this to customize listview to display only the page the user
scrolls to. Since i am populating listview with more than 200,000
items. It is too slow and tried virtual listview. But that doesnot
allow me to add images in the listview. So now trying to list only the
page user scrolls to.

Hi.
(this is somewhat similar to yesterday's thread about empty links)
I noticed that Tidy issues warnings whenever it encounters empty
tags, and strips those tags if cleanup was requested. This is okay in
some cases (such as <tbody>), but problematic for other tags (such as
<option>). Some tags (td, th, ...) do not produce warnings when they are
empty.

On my local site, I have a folder that is security trimmed, so that only
members of a Role can see it after they register and log on (I set the
memberships). All works fine locally.
However, when I deployed to my ISP, the security trimming does not work.
Here is the relevant code. I can add users just fine, they show up in the
ISP SQL Server database, and I can log on and off.

Obviously you can't just use a simple for loop, since you may skip
over elements.
You could modify the loop counter each time an element is deleted.
But, the loop ending condition must be checked on each iteration,
since the Count changes as you delete elements. I would think it is
guaranteed to be computed each time, and not cached.
So, is this the best way?
