i am going through the process of password protecting a directory using
..htaccess and .htpasswd
i am experiencing difficulty. so my question is without making life
anymore difficult is if the webhost already has a password protected
directory option is this secure enough? i dont need password protection

I am creating a dialog in wxPython for log in
purposes. Basically when the user clicks the ok
button, the dialog box saves the user name and
password as class attributes. Then as long as the
dialog exists calling MyDialog.GetUserName() and
MyDialog.GetPassword() returns them. This seems
insecure to me. Is there a better way to go about this
or is it safe as long as I destroy the dialog as soon
as I am done with it?

I have a requirement in which I need to allow the user to log into our
ASP.NET application, but also be able to change their Windows password, if
it is expired. I had thought that Windows authentication would do the
trick, but it appears not to. (If the user's password has expired, it will
sit there forever asking the user for their username and password in the

My form is not based on query, but rather two separate tables (one primary, one sub). That code is working properly. How do I get that to translate to my report? Hi guys,
You know how annoying it is when Visual Studio keeps asking you for a
username and password to access TFS? I figured it would be easy to
write a little System Tray utility that could use SendKeys to enter
the username and password into the dialog box and click the OK button.
(I ultimately plan on making the application generic so that it'll
work with any application that requires information to be entered in a
dialog box.)

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
