I have a group of links prefixed with the arrow as follows:
»link1 »link2 »link3
I would like the arrows to be vertically aligned middle of the text, like
as if they were bullets of list item, but without linebreaks.
The text would be quite large and set to a percentage, eg. 200%, so
there's no way of knowing the exact pixel height.
If all items were simply placed after each other, the arrow would naturally

Okay, I've been scouring Google for hours looking for a solution to this
problem, but as of yet I can't find one.
XHTML Transitional seems to specify that I can no longer set a table's
height to 100% and vertically center content inside of it. Therefore,
I'm seeking a way, preferably in CSS to vertically center a site.
Here's more of a visual to what I have:

If I want to have the middle of an image vertically aligned with the
middle of a heading (or several lines of heading), is there some
particular way people would recommend? vertical-align: center looked
made for that. The effect I want is
img heading
img heading
img heading
or
heading

I have been trying to get vertical lines to work in a report using VBA
code as suggested by Microsoft here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q151543/ (except I replaced Microsoft's
default line values with my own):
Private Sub Report_Open(Cancel as Integer)
DoCmd.Maximize
End Sub
Private Sub Report_Close()
DoCmd.Restore

The fact that vertical tab and form feed exist both in the
basic source character set and the basic execution
character set suggests to me that there is a class of display
devices where vertical tab and form feed produce a predictable
and consistent (among different devices) behaviour. So what
are these devices and what is the behaviour ?
For old printers , form feed presumably moves to the next page
but vertical tab is a mystery to me.

I have narrow blue vertical lines that appear on monitor whenever that colour
is displayed; also, all white backgrounds in any program have wide yellow
vertical columns that do not print. I have New monitor, XP3, up to date
drivers & trend micro anti virus.
Any ideas on how to get rid of them?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
