Place your field on the Access Form. Then drag it's width to one
character wide. Now drag this 1 character field down to make it
longer. I hope this is what you meant.

I have a report that pulls it's information from a text file. I have the report (Invoice) set up to print some of it in vertical and some of it in portrait. Problem: the verticle won't select the courier new font. It defaults to a font (which I don't know). The portrait uses Courier New. Does anyone know if there is a known issue with printing Courier New in verticle in Access 2003? It works in Access 2002.

I have been trying to get vertical lines to work in a report using VBA code as suggested by Microsoft here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q151543/ (except I replaced Microsoft's default line values with my own): Private Sub Report_Open(Cancel as Integer) DoCmd.Maximize End Sub Private Sub Report_Close() DoCmd.Restore

I want to use vertical text on a report, but I want the top oriented to the left and Access's verticle text property automatically orients the top to the right. Is there any way to change this.

Using .NET 2 . I am trying to get a vertical scrollbar with the ListView control, when in the List view mode. The default behaviour when the number of items exceeds the vertical length is to make an extra column, and use a horizontal scrollbar. This has 2 problems: If the text on any line exceeds the width of the control, you can't see

Hi- I am trying to center a web page. It seems like this should be very simple to do, but apparently it isn't my day. I have successfully centered the background by calling it in the css body tag: body { font-family: Trebuchet MS, Arial; cursor : default; background:#000000 url("Images/long-template.jpg"); background-repeat:no-repeat; background-position: center; background-attachment:scroll; height: 1228px;

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
