I need to automate a report in a different database (and thank yous to Terry

below is the code with the one line that does not work, marked: 'Does not
Work'
It appears that the type of object returned from the "AllReports" collection
is not a report object.
=>> I need it to be an object of type report.

I have exhaustingly been looking through the newsgroups in search of a way

I've seen plenty of articles on this topic but none of them have been

I am working with an Access 97 database on an NT4.0 machine, which has
many Access reports.
I want my users to be able to select a report, click on a command
button on a form, which will then automatically create the report as a
pdf file and save it to the user's machine.

Hi,
I am automating Access reports to PDF using PDF Writer 6.0. I've
created a DTS package to run the reports and schedule a job to run this
DTS package. If I PC Anywhere into the server on where the job is
running, the job runs sucessfully, PDF files got generated, everything
is good. If I scheduled the job to run at the time that I am not
logged into the server, Access is not able to print to the printer.

This is the approach I used to automate printing of Microsoft Access
reports to PDF format i.e. unattended and without annoying "Save As..."
dialogs, and - more importantly - without having to use a commercial
program such as Adobe Acrobat and its associated API.
The technique uses Ghostscript and Redirection Port Monitor - two free
programs for creating PDF documents provided free by Russell Lang. The
actual automation requires VBA...

Hi Guys: I was stuck. I needed to send a report to a file. My
beautiful report(s) in Access were going to require loss of formatting
with RTFs, a PITA in WordMailMerge, sending it as a text file...whatever.
I described my situation to the guy I'm doing work for and he did some

I have developed a report in Access 2007 that runs on three queries, each promting an input from the user...this report is used for a meeting and it should be printed nine times...what I do now is open the report nine times, with each print i enter the same inputs for the first two queries and a different input for the third one...so this is becoming a hassle for me.. :(
