rtb1.DetectUrls = True, this will automatically put url's in as a link as
you type them.. An alternative is it add a linkLabel as a control

Dim ll As New LinkLabel

ll.LinkColor = Color.Blue

Dim link As LinkLabel.Link = ll.Links.Add(0, 5, "http://www.microsoft.c om")

ll.Text = "ABCDEFGHIJ KLM"

rtb1.Controls.A dd(ll)

I have 2 frames, one frame is a table of content with a bunch of links, and the other frame houses the contents. I want to be able to change the color of the link text when the user clicks on it. I tried this: var name = document.links.text; name.fontcolor("yellow"); but didn't work, probably because "name" is a copy, not a reference to the link object property right ? Can anyone help ? Thanks a bunch in advance!!

Hi Friends, I am creating a application using C#. In that application I am using RichTextBox (System.Windows.Forms.RichTextBox). My query is how to create a file link in Rich text box. Means, I want to embed file in Richtextbox. If the user click / doubleclick / Ctrl+click the link, that file should open. It is like hyperlink in HTML.

Given a choice between: 1. <A HREF=z><NOBR>Non breaking link</NOBR></A> 2. <NOBR><A HREF=z>Non breaking link</A></NOBR> .... a nothing else; absolutely nothing else, is there any reason to chose one in preference to the other? There's no visible difference in any browser that I've tried. --

Upon trying to edit my index page at http://www.douglaidlaw.net/boykett/index.htm, NVU says that it can't edit it for an "unknown reason." Putting it through the W3C editor shows that I have routinely omitted the ALT= tag, and other basic errors, that I know how to fix. But the main source of messages is a link text I was supplied to link to a Bravenet Guestmap. I would rather leave that kind of text alone. If I make it conform, it...

I have a requirement to display the link in colum format in IE browser. The link text is associated with an image (double arrow). Since the text of the link is large enough to set in one of the column width the text and the image are messed up. When I tried removing half of the link text then it is properly displayed. For example, from the link text "Give as much detail as possible" if I remove "as possible" the link text will become "Give...

I often see, on certain websites, to the right of link-text, a number or letter inside angle-brackets, and superscripted (or raised slightly). I've never seen anything explaining what these are or what their significance or purpose is. I've also tried to google on this but of course don't know what they're called, so I've always come-up empty-handed on searches. Anyone care to share insight on this?

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
