VB application has become very slow

I have an application which has been created using visual
basic and uses Microsoft Access Database. Till last week
it was working fine. But now it is taking lot of time to
execute queries. I have also checked that it is not
consuming much CPU time (only 3-4%). Can anybody help me
regarding this??

Hi Neet,

There are so many different ways to use a database with the Net

I think that you have to tell something more.

Even better is to ask this in the newsgroup

Microsoft.publi c.dotnet.framew ork.adonet

Although there will be than a lot of answers saying use a SQL database and
that is not your question.

'Morning, Within the next few months, I'm going to embark upon a comparatively rather large base of JavaScript code to be called from a web browser environment. Hi: We developed a set of ASP.NET Web Applications that never runs in stand-alone mode, but always inside a portal (Rainbow Portal). All modules are copied on that portal.
