Since Access automatically highlights all of the text in a text
control (I use it to hold data from a memo field) when the control is
activated, I've added the following code to put the cursor at the end.
Private Sub txtCapability_GotFocus()
‘ Placed either behind the OnEnter or GotFocus Event of a control
named,

For some reason I was under the impression that .Net's RichTextBox supported
drag and drop editing, but if it does, I don't see how to turn it on.
I'm not talking about dragging files or images or whatever from some other
app into the RichTextBox. I'm just talking about the common editing
technique that is supported by nearly every MS app (incl. the VS editor
itself and the Outlook Express I'm writing this with) where you select some...

I have a test server runinng 2003/IIS 6 with a mixture of asp and asp.net
files. On my workstation I have a share set up to the folder where the web
files reside. I am just doing quick and dirty asp editing (like I used to be
able to do with 2K/IIS5) where I use VS.NET, open an asp file, make changes,
save and refresh my browser.
Problem is that I get an Access is Denied error when I try to save the file
and then the file gets wiped on...

I compile my code, I get a few errors, I go to the 1st error in the editor
and start to type in the correct code and I get no where because with each
key stroke the caret goes away, then a long pause and then the carey comes
back showing one character entered so it's like this::
SomeObject.D ... long pause ... SomeObject.Do ... long pause ...
SomeObject.DoS ... long pause ... SomeObject.DoSo ... long pause ...
SomeObject.DoSom ... long...

now for the bigger problam :)
I know you pepole hate using OE for sending emails, but its user friendly and its needed in this case...
I found on this forum, a code that sends email using OE with attachments.
it works, but with two problams... first, its directly sends the email, without opening the OE "editing mode" of the email, like when you use the DoCmd.SendObject.
this is the smaller problams though...
the bigger problam...

I have an app that I need to make changes to, and on my local copy I
have a start.aspx.vb file that I edited and tested, now when I go to
the app on the server, it doesn't show any of the .vb files, only
the .aspx files. How can I make it show me the .vb file?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
