I have a form that consists of 150 records and is still growing.
there are times when I want to print a certain record of the form, say
record 12. I go to file --> print and choose the page number of the
record. But what I would like to do, to decrease the amount of
mistakes of print all 150+ records, I would like a button to only
print the record that is currently displayed on screen. I know it can
be done, I just don't know how. Any...

When I migrated my tables to SQL Server I needed a way to overcome the
slow performance of the Find method on my recordsets. Although this
can be done by accessing the table directly using dao and odbc, or by
using a parameter query that's customized in code for each search, I
was able to find a simple and fast solution based on the same native
Access SELECT query I used previously with native Access tables.
In my example I open an...

I have a program that expects its input in a specific format.
Mainly, it expects floating-point values to be formatted in the form:
1.32
1.
3.
3.2345
In case you missed it, all floating point values have a period, even when they
are round numbers. This is a somewhat similar behavior to the %g flag of

Hi all,
I'm trying to generate a simple crystal report without a database. Several
people mention the use of a dataset. Someone mention in a msdn forum that I
could use the SetParameterValue to easily fill the fields in a simple
report. So. I looked at datasets and I think I'll try this way first. I'm
pretty new and I still don't understand much of this stuff. So. here is what
I did . and it is not working :-(.
1.-create new windows...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
