Hi,
Im trying to validate a form, all the validating works apart from one field.
This particular field must consist of the first 2 characters as letters, &
the following 5 as numbers. And if it dosent meet these requirments an error
message will be displayed. I have pasted the code (and highlighted the
relevant parts) below in the hope that someone can help me out with this.
Ive been trying to suss it out all week & it's driving me nuts!...

Hello Access Developers,
I'd like to know if it is possible to perform a count in an expression
that defines a control source.
My report is based on a query. In my report, I want a text box to
display the number of times a certain value appears in a certain field
(i.e. perform a ‘count'). I will be doing this for many values in many
fields so do not wish to have scores of queries to build my report.

I've written the following Javascript file that includes an input text
field and an output text field, the latter of which is initialized to
zero. Each time the user enters a number in the input field and hits
the space bar, that number gets added to the value in the output field
and then the input field gets set to the empty string. The user can
enter as many numbers into the input field as s/he wants.
