I have been using vb.net /asp.net for 2 years. I am
slowing switching over to c# and have 2 questions.
1.) Within vb.net I can go into asp.net project
properties and I can enter the imports once for the
project. Can I do this with a c# asp.net project? (or am
i forced to put using on each and every asp.net page?)
2.) Within vs.net with a vb.net project, while editing
the code behind file, i have 2 drop downs along the top

I have a one-line script to add an onunload event handler to the body of the
document. The script is as follows:
document.getElementsByTagName("BODY").onunload=function s() {alert("s")}
Now obviously, I put the alert("s") part in for debugging purposes, just to
make sure the error wasn't in any code I was going to be running. This line
works just fine in IE6 but in Firefox it doesn't. However, if I replace
that line with the...

Is it possible? How can I do it?
I read the documentation about the events and delegates, but its somehow
unclear, specially since it doesn't involve any data, I only want to add
the key events to the label control.
Sorry if this is dumb, I'm kind of newbie.

In VB.Net, when you double click a control you see all available
events of that control in a combo box. Click on one, and the
interface code is right there waiting for you to type implementation.
Why does this not occur in C#? I have to write the function header
myself? Why does it seem C# goes out of its way to be less productive
than VB.Net? Has this been fixed in 2005?

Hi
I tryed to solve this problem over in the framework.asp group, but
still am having trouble. Hope someone here can help.
using .net 1.1, VS 2003 and C#
I have an asp.DataGrid control with a Delete button on the end of each
row. I am unable to gain access to the event when the button is
clicked.
I don't fully understand how the click gets connected to the C# code,

I've run across something that I would like to confirm. Does the VS 2005
Properties window have a couple of bugs displaying events that use generics
or nullables? I ran some tests, and I found that the Properties window won't
display:
1. Events that use the System.EventHandler<TEventArgs> delegate, if the
event args are generic (such as MyEventArgs<T>). The first event below will
appear in the Properties window; the second will not:

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
