I have an ASP application loading jpeg images into an image datatype
on a SQL Server 2000 database. Most images are stored and retrieved
with no problem. Occasionally, an when an image is stored and
retrieved it appears corrupted.
Here's the kicker. A Microsoft Image Editor will read the image file
correctly, and will be able to save the...

editor (i.e. Photoshop) when the user clicks on a link like this :

Hallo,

I dropped an Image server control on an Asp.Net page, specified my desired
image, saw the nice image, select the control. However, the VS.Net IDE/Image
Editor tools are still grayed out ! I must have done something weird. I also
tried Html Image control and the same affect experienced. My goal is to
create "hotspots" on the image.
I m using...

Heya NG,
I've got a little confusing configuration scenario:
I've created a simple windows form in c# with Visual Studio 2003.NET
and simultaneously with VS 2005.
I've designed an Icon as well in both Studios and attached it to the
forms via the properties window. I've changed the project properties as
well and set the icon as...

And of course we are having some problems.
This is a windows application, and the problem is that when VS2005 reads the
2003 version, and tries the conversion, it does not appear to be picking up
and relating the resx files for the forms that require it.
I have tried going in and adding the .resx files, and that seems to work
partly. It...

Hello Stephen and all,
This is such a cool group. I really need to spend more time here.
A few months ago I noticed some brief discussion here about the fact
that your excellent HTML Editor for Access is not yet compatible with
IE7. At that time, you correctly pointed out that IE7 was still in
beta status and that you would not...

I'm trying to make a grid of picture box controls, which I do via code. Each of these boxes has a mouseclick, mousedown, mouseup, and mouseenter event. The mouseclick event is simple enough and works fine. However, i use the mousedown, mouseup, and mouseenter events to be able to click and drag to apply the same image across all of the boxes the...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
