About VS 2003 Image Editor

Hello!

I opened 'MyIcon'.ico icon double clicking it in Solution Explorer. After
editing and saving I checked it using Windows Explorer. Windows Explorer
shows it still like it was before editing, but if I select 'Properties'
using mouse right button, 'Properties' -forms 'General' -tab view icon like
after editing !?! How this Image Editor in Visual Studio .NET 2003 is
working with icon savings? How can I really edit icons so that they really
change correctly after editing? Icon seems to be like before editing when I
added it into ImageList.

Hi Mika,

Did you save them?
For me the icon editor is working fine.
And watch that you have the rigth format. in an icon are almost always
different formats, so maybe you are editing format1 and viewing format2

I have an ASP application loading jpeg images into an image datatype on a SQL Server 2000 database. Most images are stored and retrieved with no problem. Occasionally, an when an image is stored and retrieved it appears corrupted. Here's the kicker. A Microsoft Image Editor will read the image file correctly, and will be able to save the...

And of course we are having some problems. This is a windows application, and the problem is that when VS2005 reads the 2003 version, and tries the conversion, it does not appear to be picking up and relating the resx files for the forms that require it. I have tried going in and adding the .resx files, and that seems to work partly. It...

Hello Stephen and all, This is such a cool group. I really need to spend more time here. A few months ago I noticed some brief discussion here about the fact that your excellent HTML Editor for Access is not yet compatible with IE7. At that time, you correctly pointed out that IE7 was still in beta status and that you would not...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
