Printing Calculate the total number of pages

Does anyone know how to create the total number of pages? I am using
the printpreview, pagesetup, and printdocument. I am printing
contents from a richtextbox. I have it already printing but I need to
know the amount of pages to print to be included with the printing of
the document. Any help would be of great help. I have scrubed the
net for this info with no avail.

Hi, All I need is a simle calculate form script which contains this: A script that can handle text input, radio buttons, checkboxes, and dropdowns. Each one of these variables will contain a number. That number will appear in a seperate box at the bottom. So basically whatever you choose has a corresponding number associated with it (except for the text input, which you enter whatever number) and those numbers are added and produced in...

My question is, how can I know that total number of pages so that I can put "Page 1 of 5" on the first page and also I would know when to draw the report footer? Can anyone offer any advice?

Hi, I am getting into printing with VB.NET 2005 and want to implement the usual capability that a user can select a selection of pages. I have a report that is generated by my application that if the user wants all pages will produce 3 pages. I want to offer the user the ability to select via the print dialog that only pages 1 and 2 of it are printed or possibly pages 1 and 3 but not 2. At the moment I can produce all three pages...

The method for printing documents in .Net can be confusing, especially for newer users. I would like to create a way to simplify this process. My idea would be implemented using a PrintDocument (much like the current model), but my PrintDocument would have a Pages collection such that each time you need to have an additional page, you would just add another page to the collection and then use the page object for the actual drawing etc. ...

I have an application that prints documents that it creates. It uses what I believe is a standard .NET way of doing so, like this: PrintDocument pd = new PrintDocument(); pd.PrintPage += new PrintPageEventHandler (this.pd_PrintPage); PrintDialog PrintDialog1 = new PrintDialog(); PrintDialog1.Document = pd; DialogResult result = PrintDialog1.ShowDialog();

Hi, I need to print a report like document. So in report there are many articles and what I need when I get to the end, is to update page numbers on the second page where the Table of Content is .... or even update strings like Page 1 or 10 ... Page 2 of 10 etc .... When starting the report I don't know the total number of pages nor the page number on which each and every article starts ....

Hi, First of all let me confess that I could not get the solution to the same problem from an earlier post Printing :by Mr.Richard MSL (dated September 24th 2006) working. (Replied by Mr.Walter Wang - September 27th 2006) My problem is to Print a text from a RichTextBox with all options like - AllowMultiplePages enabled plus PrintPreview and PageSetup. I tried 2 algorithms - 1 posted in Microsoft and 1 posted in this forum. ...

Hi, this is my first time posting here. It appears that I am taking the same class as a few other people here. I have only been learning Java for about five weeks now. I have my Product class compiled and I finally got my Inventory class compiled but when I run the program it prints the first line correctly then I input the item name but then it prints the next two lines when it should print one and allow me to input then print the next. ...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
