I have a check box called Loadtxt and when it is ticked I want the value of
a control called EmailDatetxt to be today's date. I am using this code in
the AfterUpdate event of the checkbox but it doesn't work.
If Me.Loadtxt = True Then
Me.EmailDatetxt.Value = Date
Else
Me.EmailDatetxt = Null
End If
Anyone any ideas?

Hi,
I have a text control on a form which is bound to table field StartDate
which is in Date format. When updating the table record via the form, any
data entered into the StartDate control is immediately validated. If the
data entered is considered valid, focus moves to the next control in the tab
sequence. So far, so good.
If the data entered in StartDate is considered invalid, an error message is
displayed via MsgBox. When OK is...

I have a table of data in Access 2002 which is used as the source table for
a mail merge document using Word 2002 on my clients PC. The data is
transferred OK but I've noticed that any dates which fall between
1stday/anymonth/any year and 12thday/anymonth/any year are rearranged in the
wrong format. For example 4th July 2005 from the database would be displayed
as 07/05/2005 in the merged document. In addition blank date fields from the...

Each day a user is supposed to import a list of information into a
database table. The user only has 30 days to import this information.
After 30 days the information is lost. I need to be able to create a
form or a report or something that a user would be able to review and
show that a day was missed doing the import (indicating they forgot to
import that days information).
The table the information is being imported into is called...

Hello all, and thank you in advance for your assistance.
I'm pretty new to access and I'm trying to teach myself some VBA by
using various bits of code I find here and there mixed with my own.
I've seen mentions of this issue in other forums, but haven't found an
ansewer (at least one I understand lol) in other postings.
I have a text box that users need to input a short date into. I tried
using a Access's built in calendar control...

Hi all - Last resort time.
I'm importing data from a spreadsheet that I receive from one of my vendor
using interop.excel.
The date field in excel is entered as 4/7/2006, but when I retrieve the
value, it returns a double 38449.0.
I can't figure out how to convert this value into a proper date. I have no
Idea what excel is doing with this date. Also, when I enter in 38449 into

I'm trying to filter the records on the mainform (MailingList) of my
database using a field contained in a subform (Donations). I was
basing my code off Allen Browne's Access Tips page (here:
http://allenbrowne.com/ser-28.html) since it has worked so well in the
past. However, now I'm trying to filter by date instead of by a
string or a number, and I'm getting nowhere. My goal is to have users
type a date into the unbound combo box and...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
