Electronic Signatures on the Web

Hi,

I am writing a web application where students will fill out and sign forms
on the web.
How can I capture e-signatures on a web application? Which signature pad
hardware/software should i use?

Thanks,

Nabeel

Hi, I've been asked to do some analysis on a workflow system, specifically with electronic authorisation / signature. E.g. User A logs in and initiates a timesheet, fills it in and "submits" it. The system already knows that User B is User A's supervisor, so it sends User B an email to say that he has a new timesheet to authorise.

I have a client that has asked us to get a digital signature certificate and start digitally signing all files we pass between each other. I have heard of the subject and know about the certs but I have no idea how to do something like this with VB.Net. Has anyone done something like this or know where I can find out information how to perform the process of signing a document when sending it then checking one on receipt? Your help is...

Does anyone know of any electronic security device hardware for doors that can be accessed using vb.net? Like for instance a room that needs to be secured via an electronic device, that can open via a badge being swiped through it. I would like to talk to this device with vb.net and sore information on who leaves and enters the room. If anyone has any information on this please let me know thanks.

I am looking for electronic forms software that would integrate well with MS Access. I have a client for whom I built a client database to replace and update one they had that was obsolete and not doing what they want. They are wanting to move on to the next step and automate most of their forms. some are boilerplate forms that are simple printed without change. some are boilerplate but require signatures from client and rep. Others...

http://bytes.com/images/howtos/applemail_sig_icon.jpg At first glance, it may not appear that Apple Mail (otherwise known as Mail.app) supports the use of HTML signature emails. However, with a little terminal and Safari magic, you will be sending HTML signatures. 1. Prepare your HTML signature. Open TextEdit or your favorite HTML editor and create your signature just how you want it to look. Remember to keep it simple as most mail...

Hey All, Sorry to post to several groups but wasn't sure which development group would be best for the question. I was wondering if there are any developers out there that have significant electronic discovery experience and are familiar with the OutIndex E-Discovery tool? If so, I was wondering if there are any good competing tools and,

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
