A client wants me to decrypt a cookie. They encrypted the data in java using
TripleDES. The key provided is a 168 bit 44 character key, DESede alogorithm.
Ive tried to decrypt in vb.net and get the above error. Below is the class I
use and the code I use to call it.
Not sure wher I'm going wrong here. The TripleDES service provider only uses
a 192 bit 24 character length key.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I need my remoting server to callback to my client and I am trying to do
that using delegate. While the client invoking the server OK, I am getting
the following error when the server trying to callback to the client: "This
remoting proxy has no channel sink which means either the server has no
registered server channels that are listening, or this application has no
suitable client channel to talk to the server."
I have try all...

If you encounter this error, most likely one of the controls you're
trying to cut/paste is a combo box with a longer-than-average 'Row
Source' value. That, apparently, is the problem. Shorter Row Source
values don't seem to be a problem. (I don't have time to figure out at
what length the error triggers.)
Workaround: Remove the Row Source (you can cut/paste the text somewhere
else), then try cutting/pasting the control(s) again. Then...

I was doing update statements in SQL Server 2000.
I have a table with over 16 million rows.
It came from several hundred delimited text files,
and two of the columns are file ID (int) and Line # (int)
Structure is X12 (835). For those unfamiliar with that,
each file has one to many BPR lines; each BPR line has
zero to many CLP lines, each of those has zero to many

I'm new to WCF as well as services and am having trouble running the
WCF samples. We've chosen to pursue the WCF model to communicate from
a client WinForm GUI to a service running within a LAN. We plan on
using the TCP protocol for communication. I've been trying to run the
Basic WCF sample and have been getting the error:
"This collection already contains an address with scheme http. There
can be at most one address per scheme in this...

I have a perl script that throws an error "illegal division by zero" chunk 37.
FYI, this script was the one that worked fine two days back. There is no change
in the script.
Can anyone tell me, what could be the reason...and what is that chunk 37 telling about?

I used to have no problems using IF-statement in SQL-queries. Now nothing works, it always returns "Syntax error". This query also returns an error.
IF (1=1) THEN
SELECT 'True'
ELSE
SELECT 'False'
END IF
What is wrong? I know it doesn't do anything, but why do I get syntax error?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
