Infragistics UltraWinGrid

Does anyone know how to display data in the UltraWinGrid control by
Infragistics so that I can display 30+ columns and have the columns
headers go down the left hand side of the control and to allow scroll
bars to display both horizontally and vertically?

I tried using the card view and the varios settings with the card view
to accomplish this.
The info at Infragistics website states that the view area must be
large enough to display all 30+ rows.
This only occurs in card view mode.

Please send me at email at ms******@yahoo. com if you can shed some
light on this.

Thanks in advance.

I was recently assigned to build a database administration tool with an infragistics web grid UI. I am able to pull the data into a dataSet and bind it fine. However, when I attempted to use the UpdateCell or UpdateCellBatch events to transfer updated data to the data set, the event arguements (Infragistics.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.CellEventArgs e) are missing critical information such as the row and column of the cell being updated, and most of...

Greetings, My team and I would like to use Infragistics for both WinForm and WebForm development. From a technical perspective we see the benefits. The boss wants me to quantify ROI. The primary question I get is 'what does the Infragistic grid give me that the ASP.NET grid does not?' I get similar questions for the other Infragistic controls that are complements of existing WinForms and WebForm controls. For me to answer this...

Rather than all that painting, brush, etc. code to change the styles of a ..NET datagrid to start with and on the fly, I'd rather be able to set a lot of the stuff in the designer properties of the grid. Would I buy any code savings buy using an Infragistics/whatever datagrid? Any recommendations for a best practices doing it with the .NET datagrid? I guess a custom control dll type data grid with lots of nice properties would be...

Hi everyone, We're needing to pick a suite of components for our C#/VS 2005 development. Top on our list is a treeview that integrates with a datagrid. I think all the big goes provide that. Does anyone know which suite is the "best" or are they (Infragistics, ComponentOne, DevExpress, other) all about the same? Thanks for any insight or opinion.

Hello, is it possibile to setup a format for columns with the UltraWinGrid designer. I would like to display numbers in a column with a thousand separator and to two positions after the point (x,xxx.xx = e.g. 1,345.99 or 0.99 ). Thanks for your help!

I was hoping someone has come across this and came up with a solution. We have upgraded our custom software to us Infragistics UltraWinGrid 2006 CLR 2.0. The code below worked with a previous release of the UltraWinGrid. When the user clicks on the 'Select All' button this code is selecting all rows in the grid. The grid has band(0) and band(1) (Parent and multiple children)

Hi, I have created a VS 2008 Windows Application.I placed an UltraWinGrid on the form which displays records from a table say "emp". I placed two buttons named "left" and "right" above the UltraWinGrid. The functionality of these buttons should be like "left"------>when we click "left" button,it should behave like clicking once on the horizontal scrollbar in ultrawingrid to left side. "right"---->when we click "right" button,it...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
