What I want to do is write a program that reads through a
Word Document, finds certain words or sentences I want,
and then paste into an Excel spreadsheet.
I dont know much about C#. But I learned how to use
those COM Interop things. And Im able to write code that
allows me to open existing Word documents and existing
Excel spreadsheets. And I know how to write into
specific columns and rows of the spreadsheet.

I am trying to run a Word macro. The problem is that the parameters are
unchanged after running the macro. This shouldn't be the case because some
of the parameters to the Word macro are reference variables. This is not a
problem with the macro because it known to work fine.
Here's my code:
object oMissing = Missing.Value;
object oConfigFile = "validatorconfig.xml";
object oReturnErrors = 0, oReturnWarnings = 0;

I am trying to run a word macro via automation from an asp.net application.
The document loads well enough, but I get an "Unable to run the specified
macro" error when attempting to run the macro. I am using authentication
"no anonymous", so it should be able to get the right Normal.dot from my
profile (correct assumption?). I am aware of article
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;288366 but that
does not really...

Hi
My vb.net opens a word document from a word template. I am trying to find
when the document is saved by the user so I can make a history in my vb.net
app. Here is how I think it may work;
Open a word doc from vb.net app, pass ref of a vb.net event handler to the
word doc, in word, use FileSave macro to call the vb.net event handler when
the document is saved. The vb.net event handler creates history in vb.net
app.

I'm having some problems converting VBA for Word 2000 to code that
VB.Net understands. I recorded a macro in Word to add numbering (a.
b. c.) to my paragraphs. I managed to translate quite a bit of it,
but I'm having trouble with two pieces:
ListGalleries - I can't find any way to make VB.Net understand this.
When I do a mouseover, the error message it gives is, "Interface
'Word.ListGalleries' cannot be indexed because it has no...

I am trying to develop a C# program to fill in the blanks in a Word Form. Everything works beautifully while the program is running.
I had to go in to fix some links on our Web Site a couple of days later and found any Word Document containing links now shows the code instead of the link. i.e. {HYPERLINK "Executive%20Summary%20for%20CSI.doc"} instead of CSI. I have traced this error down to my program but don't know what is causing it.

You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
