Hey,
I tried to set the datagrid's readonly property in code, to either true or
false, and I can see it works fine. (for example, there are two buttons on
the form, click one of them to set the property to true, and the other to
set it to false).
could you tell me more details about your code, so we can see if we missed
anything there.
Thanks.

I guess you are not "Woodpecker ", so I suggest you should open a new thread
and ask your question again.

Hi Armin,
No that not,
This question is I think 10 times send to this newsgroup.
And I think nobody understand how it is done, because there are no answers
except from OHM who said: "clean the datatable". datatable.clear
But I doubt if that is the requested answer

Please write the text below the quote. I don't know what you are referring
to.

I only see an answer from Aiwen Guo.

Just a silly question, but why can't you overload a writeonly property with
a readonly one? Surely the compiler can tell the difference of which one to
call at compile time, depending on if it is an assignment or a get?
I know there isn't much point to this anyway, but until Properties with
different scope for Get and Set methods are brought...

With a Class is there any difference between a readonly property and
function besides having to use Get/End Get.
Are there any performance/resource advantages for either.

Hi everyone,
I'm not entirely sure if this is the best way of going about it, but here's
the scenario..........
I have two datagrid, each bound to a datatable which have checkbox columns.
There are two buttons between the datagrids, "Add" and "Remove". They
basically remove rows from one grid to the other, only those with the
checkbox...

and displays it in the grid. I have two major problems.... One,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows.
